At Petzo, your data and your pets' data belong to you. This policy explains in plain words what we collect, why, and how you stay in control.

1. Who is the data controller?

Petzo (Belgique / België / Belgium) is responsible for processing data collected via https://petzo.eu.

2. What data do we collect?

  • Account: your email, display name and language preference.
  • Pets: name, species, breed, birth date, photo, weight and any health info you enter (vaccines, treatments, vet visits, etc.).
  • Expenses: amounts and categories you record.
  • Collaborators: email of people you invite to co-manage a pet.
  • Technical: server logs (IP, user-agent) for security.

3. Why and on what legal basis?

Contract performance: running your account, your health journal and the Premium subscription.

Legitimate interest: security, fraud prevention, service improvement through aggregated statistics.

Consent: optional communications (newsletter, email reminders), revocable at any time.

Legal obligation: billing, accounting.

4. How long do we keep your data?

Account and pet data: as long as your account is active.

Account deletion: erased within 30 days, except where legally required (invoices kept 7 years).

Technical logs: 12 months maximum.

5. Who do we share data with?

Strictly necessary technical sub-processors: hosting (Cloudflare / Supabase, EU), transactional email provider, payment processor (Stripe).

No data selling. No advertising.

6. Your GDPR rights

Access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection and restriction.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.

7. Security

Data encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Strict access controls.

8. Minors

Petzo is not intended for users under 16.
