When should you vaccinate your kitten?

A kitten's initial vaccination generally begins around 8 weeks of age. At this stage, the kitten no longer benefits from the immunity passed on by its mother and becomes vulnerable. The initial vaccination usually requires several injections a few weeks apart, followed by boosters.
